A friend of mine had a problem with injector seals on his Mazda 6 2.0 CD with Denso RF7 ECU. The seals where fixed but the DPF clogged. So the mechanic made 3 6mm holes on it. But now the car gives 4 Errors and is in Limp mode: P2458 - Excess regeneration time. P242F - Filter clogged. P0133 - O2 sensor slow. P0030 - Lambda sensor heater circuit.

Another way to kill your DPF with oil is via a leaky turbo oil seal. So I would absolutely not be letting those service intervals slide. EGR & GLOW PLUGS. Sticky EGR valves are another DPF killer - pumping excess crankcase vapour into the exhaust. Faulty glow-plugs - also DPF-deadly - because they cause the engine to run too rich on start-up.
