My query is the fork oil capacity in my Haynes manual is @ 530ml with a 100ml air gap to the top of the stanchion. On my model, 1969, and judging from posts over the years, there sometimes was a plastic "bottle" inside each fork stantion. Start the engine and let it run for a couple of minutes to fill up the oil filter. Then turn the bike off and let it sit for 5-10 minutes to let the oil drain back into the sump. Then add oil slowly until it's about 2/3 to 3/4 of the way up the sight glass. Go for a ride and then be sure to check the sight glass again the next day and top off
